These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PickRAW software and the pickraw.com website (together, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using PickRAW, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What PickRAW does

PickRAW is a desktop application that helps photographers sort camera files (RAW, JPG, Video, and other file types) into organized folders. The app copies files from a source folder to destination folders you choose. PickRAW never deletes, moves, or modifies your original files.

2. License to use

When you purchase PickRAW, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software on up to two (2) computers that you own or control. This is a one-time purchase — not a subscription.

Future major version upgrades (e.g., from version 1.x to version 2.x) may require a separate purchase at a discounted upgrade price.

3. Free trial

PickRAW offers a free trial that allows you to perform up to 3 file sorts before a license purchase is required. The trial includes full functionality with no feature restrictions. No credit card is required for the trial.

4. Payment and refunds

Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy (Lemon Squeezy LLC). By making a purchase, you also agree to LemonSqueezy's terms of service.

If you are not satisfied with PickRAW, you may request a refund within 30 days of purchase by contacting us at support@pickraw.com. Refunds are processed through LemonSqueezy.

PickRAW processes your files entirely on your local computer. We never access, upload, view, or store your photos, videos, or any other files. You retain full ownership of all your files at all times.

PickRAW operates in copy-only mode. Your original files on the source drive (memory card, hard drive, etc.) are never moved, renamed, deleted, or modified in any way.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

PickRAW is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

While PickRAW is designed to safely copy files without affecting originals, we recommend maintaining your own backups. We do not guarantee that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every system configuration.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PickRAW and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the software.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of PickRAW shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license.

9. Intellectual property

PickRAW, including its code, design, name, logo, and website content, is the intellectual property of PickRAW and its creator. All rights not explicitly granted in these Terms are reserved.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of PickRAW after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must stop using PickRAW and delete all copies from your computers. Sections 7 (Disclaimer), 8 (Limitation of Liability), and 9 (Intellectual Property) survive termination.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Virginia.
